A colleague asked about creating classes, how students get to your class and how you share a Blendspace lesson with a class- so I made a screencast answering her questions...
Blendspace is a great tool to get you started flipping your classroom. I typically share information to my students using Edmodo but Blendspace would be an easy way to share multiple clips or resources and even have my students answer a few questions to gauge their learning. Because you can create by dragging and dropping items to create the Blendspace gallery, it can be geared to any level. When students log in, they just need to hit, "play" and select an arrow to head to the next resource.Want to see more? Check out this website for more on this classroom idea.
Blendspace is also a great tool to allow your students to create! I get tired of the basic PowerPoint. Blendspace could change all that. Students can select some external resources themselves, add text and questions and create a presentation for their classmates. This may be a middle school or high school level technology. There are so many great galleries in Blendspace that they may not have to start fresh all the time. Blendspace is definitely a tool that your students could use themselves!

External Reviews of Blendspace
Need some more convincing the Blendspace is a wonderful technology?
Head over to Graphite.org and check out their review or head to Edsurge.com for their review.
I love the quick take and learning scores on Graphite.org. It quickly breaks down the technology and gets to the questions of how can teachers use this and what you might need to watch out for.
I like the review on Edsurge because it really cuts to the point of what Blendspace does and how it can be used in the classroom. It also opens up to other technologies and compares similar technologies. I would still stick with Blendspace.
